This product is very well made and recently withstood 95 mile straight line winds.
I was fully prepared to assemble this product, knowing that it did not come with any pre-assembly. Every piece has to be put together and everything that is needed is in the box, including the bit for the screws. I figured I'd get a jump on the color to make it match the decor of the house and backyard. So before assembly, I laid out all the pieces and painted each piece. Being that it is a very smooth surface, in white, it took two coats of paint which I already figured it was going to. So two coats finished and dried, now we put it together. This is where the "oh no" moment comes in. Most of the pieces has to be slid through very tight holes, and the two coats of paint ate now shavings on the floor. By the time it was complete, re- painting was necessary. UGH! I think they should make a note in the instructions that pre-painting will be remover upon assembly. The final product looks good and is sturdy.
